Donations & Community Outreach

THANK YOU so much for your continued support of Boston Children’s Hospital. Your thoughtfulness is so important to our patients and families. We wanted to share a few reminders for the upcoming 2019 holiday season.

  • Due to privacy & infection control policies, we unfortunately cannot have donors up to the floors to distribute gifts. However, we are happy to meet you in the main lobby to accept your donation
  • All items must be brand new & cannot be gift wrapped; please no identifying stickers on items
  • You can view our current donation guidelines, amazon wish lists and sign-up to drop off your donation at: childrenshospital.org/donations

New this year!! We will be hosting a ‘Holiday Haul’ Donation Drop-Off Event on December 14th & 15th from 10am to 3pm at our main campus at 300 Longwood Avenue. We are encouraging all donors to drop off donations at this time. Staff and signage will be there to help direct you to the Holiday Haul.

  • All donations need to be delivered by Sunday, December 15th. If you cannot deliver your items by then, we kindly ask that you arrange your donation to be dropped off in the new year. This ensures that our staff is able to be at the bedside with our patients and prepare for holiday programming for our families.

Gifts donated to Boston Children's Hospital are deeply appreciated, not only during the holiday season but also year-round. Thanks to our generous community, we often receive an abundance of gifts during the holidays. Our primary goal is to ensure Boston Children's patients at our main campus and satellite locations receive donated gifts, however, if we receive more than we can use at Boston Children's, we would like to share the holiday joy with other Boston-area medical facilities and charitable organizations.

Thank you so much for your continued support! Please reach out to child life services at child.life@childrens.harvard.edu with any questions.

Warm Wishes,

Child Life Services at Boston Children’s Hospital
